Welcome!

Welcome to Classroom Confessions. I’ve always said, “You couldn’t pay me enough to go back to middle school.” Ironically, for the past ten years, I’ve been getting paid to do just that. Here are some true stories of my teaching adventures.  I guess the only question now is, why on earth do I keep going back for more?

  1. I’m going to tenth grade so I’m not that much older then these kids… and they really have me worried, these posts make me laugh… but O_o.

    • Alice, Thanks for reading. I will say it is refreshing when former students come back to visit me, or when I run into them in the real world, and I can see that they turned out ok. Of course some of them don’t but… well… you can’t win them all. 🙂

  2. It has been a rough week at school, truthfully a tough year, but I accidentally stumbled on your blog. I mistyped the address and through divine intervention, have laughed for a couple of hours. You were exactly what I needed! Thank you for taking the time to share your classroom experiences.

    • Christi- Thank goodness for divine intervention! Thanks for stopping by. I’m so happy you enjoyed your visit. As for school, hang in there. Your well deserved summer break will be here before you know it. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to take some time for yourself.

  3. Melissa, I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed reading through all of these posts. I miss getting notifications in my email that you have posted a new post. Are you still teaching? Have you moved your blog? Reading the hilarious antics have been good for the soul! Any time I need a boost, I choose a post and read! Thank you for sharing your hilarity with us!
